From this September, The Right Tuition Company (RTC) will begin holding Primary-level classes, every Monday evening, from the Crowborough Community Centre. As an award-winning, local tuition company, with tuition centres across the Kent region, we are delighted to be traversing the county border and making expert Primary-level support an opportunity to be grabbed in Crowborough.
As a company, we are unique in being able to offer children the benefit of our own exclusive learning materials and Year-group programmes of study, as well as presenting a distinct philosophy on learning. RTC promotes a non-computer-based approach to small-group tutoring, where children are encouraged to take on a proactive role in the learning experience. Led by our qualified subject specialists, our local Crowborough-based tutors generate a stimulating academic environment where children feel confident in asking questions, articulating ideas and, also, benefitting from the social interaction of the small-group setting.
Yasmine Lewins, our lead tutor for our new Crowborough tuition centre, is an incredibly passionate educator. Having taught with RTC for the past eight years, she is hugely excited at the prospect of delivering inspirational classes to local children hailing from her home town of Crowborough!
All children enrolled with RTC benefit from our introductory academic assessment, which is delivered free of charge. This only takes an hour and allows for us to identify those areas of relative strength, as well as pin-pointing those aspects that can be targeted for improvement. Parents receive some thorough written feedback within the marked assessment, which is then followed-up with a telephone consultation, where the results are put into context and the plan for progress begins to take shape. In addition, every child will receive their first class free of charge, serving as that all-important taster session.
Our Primary courses follow the National Curriculum; therefore, our sessions will offer direct support to each child’s overall progress at school. Whilst we are also experts in the provision of specialist 11+ preparation classes, our principal focus is always on each child’s individual learning journey. Ultimately, we teach children and don’t ‘coach’. This distinction aims to make clear our absolute dedication towards the pursuit of long-term academic enrichment through the fun and engaging classes that we provide.
We will be offering Year-group classes, for each of Years 2-6, after school on Mondays.
