The placing of an order with The Crowborough Magazine and/or The Edenbridge Magazine will be deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions by the Advertiser:
- Your company must provide products or services to the residents and businesses in the TN6 and/or TN8 post code areas to advertise in the Magazines.
- We gratefully acknowledge the support of businesses whose adverts appear in The Magazines, and whilst every care is taken to ensure accuracy, the publishers cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage, or omission cause by error in the printing of an advert or other information.
- Adverts are accepted on the understanding that descriptions of goods and services are fair and accurate. The publishers cannot accept responsibility for views expressed by contributors, or for the accuracy of claims made by Advertisers.
- Copy for your advertisement should be sent before the relevant copy deadline date. If you have requested that your advert/editorial be written/designed by us, it is your responsibility to ensure that you give us the correct information about your business.
- Advertisements submitted to us should be in at least one of the following formats: PDF, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, MS Publisher, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, JPEG, Bitmap, EPS or TIFF. In a minimum of 300 DPI, they may be submitted by email to enquiries@crowborough-magazine.co.uk.
- If you require an advert or editorial to be written or designed by us, you will need to have agreed the article in writing before the copy deadline in order to be included in the next issue of the Magazine.
- We take no responsibility for the content of your advertisement. It is your responsibility to ensure that your advert is legal and copyright free. We cannot accept adverts which you do not have permission to copy – e.g. from a Yellow Pages advert.
- We reserve the right to refuse advertisements which may be defamatory or offensive or which promote products that may be considered indecent/illegal.
- We can make no guarantees that your advert will be successful; therefore we are unable to offer you a refund if you receive no response. The cost of your advert covers the cost of printing.
- When you book your advert, you are agreeing to pay the current advertisement price by the due date. The due date is the copy deadline date or the date stated on your invoice. In cases of overdue accounts, the Advertiser will be liable to any additional costs incurred for outstanding payment collection.
- Any bank charges incurred by us due to bounced cheques are required to be paid by the Advertiser. Payment can be made by most Debit and Credit Cards.
- The distribution area may be altered at the publisher’s discretion without prior warning.
- We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery if we are not paid according to the agreed credit terms.
