The Chamber summer meeting and social evening was held on a balmy evening in July at the Babylon Eco Centre near Duddleswell.  Members enjoyed a relaxed welcome drink and delicious summer supper in the restaurant followed by an inspired presentation from Rachel Collins from the Babylon Nursery about their sustainable business model and encouraged other businesses to look at their own sustainability plans.

Thank you to Babylon for hosting the evening, the garden centre is open Tuesdays to Sundays and offered a fantastic venue for our meeting. It’s well worth a visit and right on our doorstep, and a welcoming place for the local community.

The evening was also the launch of the new Chamber website and branding and Carolyn Markham from North Star Creative Marketing explained the versatility of the new website. There is more functionality making it easy for the members to get the most from their Chamber membership and ease of joining online for new and prospective members.

Chamber membership offers the chance to become involved in a friendly and effective organisation that can help you improve your own businesses as well representing your interests to key decision makers.

Our next Chamber meeting is to be held at Crowborough Community Centre on Thursday 12th September at 5.45pm.  This event will be open to non-members and will be an ideal opportunity for those thinking about joining the Chamber to come along and meet other businesses.

If you would like to book for this event, find out more about what the Chamber does or get information about membership please visit our website www.crowboroughchamber.co.uk or email secretary@crowboroughchamber.co.uk
