Sussex Area of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) are holding a show at Crowborough Community Centre on Saturday 29th October 2022, from 9.30am until 5.30pm.  This is the first time this show has come to Crowborough.

Flower Clubs from across Sussex are invited to enter into the various competition classes and everything will be on display to visitors on the Saturday.  There will also be many trade stalls including craft and plant stalls for visitors to browse.

Entry to the public is £2.00 on the door on the day.  Refreshments and light lunches will also be available (cash only).

In addition, there will be two presentations: Tony Strange as Henry VIII ((11am-12.15pm) and also a flower demonstration ‘ALCHEMY’ by National Demonstrator Dr Christina Curtis at 2pm.  Tickets for this are available at £20.00 from sussexareashow2022@yahoo.com or by calling 01903 817187, or on the door on the day.

This event will provide a great opportunity to learn some new skills and techniques so you can make your own floral arrangements look more dazzling.

Formed in the 1980s, the Crowborough Flower Club are always happy to welcome new members.  They meet on the first Thursday of the month (excluding January) at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start at the Crowborough Community Centre.

The monthly meetings often consist of a flower demonstration by a qualified demonstrator, with a raffle at the end for the amazing displays created during the demonstration.  There are also speakers at some meetings giving talks, usually flower related, and other activities include workshops and organised visits to interesting places in the local area.

An annual subscription for 2022 is £35.00 although visitors can attend for a fee of £5.00 per visit.
