The Chamber of Commerce July meeting and summer Party was held on Wednesday 19th July at the Ashdown Forest Centre in the Education Barn. Members and guests sat down to a delicious afternoon tea and enjoyed a very educational presentation by Chris Sutton, one of the Forest Rangers. Chris explained about some of the history of the forest and a beautiful sideshow on the fauna and flora which we are lucky to have on our doorstep.

The Chamber membership offers the chance to become involved in a friendly and effective organisation that can help you improve your own businesses as well representing your interests to key decision makers. Our regular Chamber meetings and networking events provide the chance to get to know other members and keep up to date with what’s happening in the business community.
Our next full Chamber meeting is to be held at Crowborough Community Centre on Thursday 14th September. This event will be open to non-members (at a small charge) and would be a great time for those thinking about joining the Chamber to come along and see what we do just in time for the beginning of the Chamber Membership year in November. Our membership has recently grown to 91 and there are several more new businesses who have shown an interest in joining.
Our re-launched breakfast meetings have been a great success and we have welcomed not only existing and new members but guests from local businesses. These meetings are held at Crowborough Beacon Golf Club on the first Tuesday of the month and a tasty breakfast is an excellent way to start the working day.
