Joint and muscle pain can take us by surprise at any time in our lives. Whether caused by a muscle injury during sport, an accident or simply carrying out a simple task. This is where the knowledge and expertise of local osteopath and soft tissue specialist, Ella Gilder can help. She can’t guarantee a quick fix, but her years of training have given her a wide understanding of how our bodies work to be able to treat the areas causing us discomfort and put patients on the road to recovery.
Following her studies at Beacon Academy, Ella gained extensive experience as a massage therapist, holding a diploma in sports and remedial massage. This led her to pursue osteopathy, graduating with a Masters of Osteopathy, receiving recognition during her first year for outstanding performance, presented by HRH Princess Anne at the graduation ceremony.
Combining both her osteopathy and soft tissue skills, Ella is able to evaluate each patient individually, providing tailored treatment pathways and valuable advice.
Osteopathy can help many people and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is not only used in the treatment of pain but can help improve an individual’s overall sense of well-being.
Many of Ella’s clients might initially see her to deal with a specific ailment such as:
- Back/Neck Pain
- Headaches
- Joint Pain
- Muscular Spasms
- Digestive Issues
- Anxiety & Stress
This list is by no means complete and you can find a more extensive list on her website, or just give her a call to discuss if she can help you.
You will receive a warm welcome when you visit Ella’s treatment room, based at Friar’s Gate Farm (TN6 1XH). Ella’s friendly approach will put you at ease and she will go through any issues you are experiencing and what it is you’d like to get out of your session with her.
I had originally thought that I was feeling great when I laid down on her treatment couch, but underneath Ella’s expert fingertips I suddenly felt that there were a few issues in my back and shoulders. However, using a combination of massage and cranial, Ella soon had the pain easing away and I floated out of her treatment room at the end of my session.
So, if you’re struggling with aches and pains or other disorders that osteopathy can help with, I would recommend you get in touch with Ella and start your journey to recovery.
