Do you or anyone you know love to talk about sport?
Then why not pop along to the Sporting Memories Club in Crowborough!
The club meets on the first Monday of each month (excluding Bank Holidays) at The Oasis Community Church, 11am-12.30pm. It is free to attend and open to anyone over the age of 50. Meetings include activities such as Spot the Ball, sporting quizzes, looking over sporting memorabilia etc, as well as Boccia or New Age Kurling to get everyone moving. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided.
Sporting Memories clubs offer a friendly and welcoming environment to chat and share experiences with other older sports fans. There is always lots of fun and laughter.
Due to the reminiscence material used, the club is also ideal for those living with dementia and their carers who are more than welcome stay.
If you would like to find out more about joining as a member or supporting this club as a volunteer then we’d love to hear from you. Either contact Emma – emma.brooke@sussexcricket.co.uk or feel free to just come along.
We look forward to meeting you and hearing your Sporting Memories!
