“The Crowborough Miniature Steam Railway at the Goldsmiths Centre has made considerable progress with their track extension since gaining approval from Wealden Council in May 2014.

With increased popularity of this miniature railway, the Crowborough Town Council has purchased a slice of the adjoining field to enable the Crowborough Locomotive Society to extend their track to over twice its current length. Members have pooled together to raise sufficient funds to make a good start.

Progress to date has been remarkable. Come along and see for yourself.

We are now keen to raise further funds to enable us to continue with this long term asset to the town of Crowborough. If you would like to join our team in this construction, you would be most welcome.

We try to encourage keen youngsters to get involved and learn about the basics in Science, Engineering and project work. They in turn teach us about computers and mobile phones.

If you would like to get involved with our venture or make a donation to this worthy cause, contact Malcolm Place on 01892 669 004.”
