The clocks may have gone back but the fight against Covid-19 continues to move forward, and we are doing everything we can at CAFC to ensure the safety of everyone who comes to our ground. As well as our continued support of the NHS Covid-19 tracking app, our social distancing measures (including the provision of hand sanitiser), our switch to contactless payment once inside the stadium, and our superb volunteer match day stewards, we are now also working with our friends at Walsh Manor to regularly sanitise all buildings in regular use at the Crowborough Community Stadium, after matches. We are incredibly grateful for their support.
In addition, we have closed our clubhouse for the foreseeable future but have been able to sell tea, coffee, burgers, and alcohol inside the ground where our supporters are much safer out in the open air. As Winter approaches, our friends at Fixit & Son, already a club sponsor, have also supplied a temporary roof for the outside Crows Arms bar area with costs covered by a grant from the Football Foundation and with support from our MP, Nus Ghani.
While government guidelines on the situation will inevitably change as the season moves on, we will continue to do everything we can to make football as safe as possible at The Crowborough Community Stadium, as it’s equally important that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, see some live sport, and unwind just for 90 minutes in a safe and secure environment. The Crows need your support too, and if we all work together, we can get through this.
We will continue to provide football at the Crowborough Community Stadium as safely as we can, for as long as we can. Please come and support The Crows.
